Specifications

Rucks' Pit, near Fort Drum, Okeechobee County, Florida, USA
178mm x 108mm x 100mm
Nice combo specimen with two adjacent honey-hued calcite crystal-filled “side clams”. Largest crystals are 1 cm long. To the right of these is a second bivalve species, an Anadara (Scapharca) sp. calcite geode - the outside shell covered in drusy calcite, and also containing amber calcite crystals inside. This is an unusual and rare mixed-species matrix piece. Specimen sits well for display, as seen in the photo.
