FLUORITE on SPHALERITE with minor GALENA

Cabinet (11.0 x 7.9 x 6.2 cm)

Interesting stepped translucent purple cubic fluorite crystals with yellow-brown internal phantoms, some with included bitumen, atop dark red-brown crystalline sphalerite. The phantoms fluoresce yellow under shortwave UV light. Tucked in among the sphalerite are a couple of octahedrally-modified galena crystals. The largest fluorite crystals are 2 cm across. From a closed locality.
