FLUORITE on SPHALERITE

Cabinet (9.6 x 7.7 x 4.5 cm)

This specimen consists of colorless cubic fluorite crystals to 3 cm across, with a thin outer veneer of light purple fluorite. The fluorites sit atop a red-brown crystalline mass of sphalerite. A couple of smaller (~ 1 cm) fluorites lie almost hidden on and within the sphalerite.
