This outstanding specimen consists of undamaged transparent bright orange spessartine crystals to 0.4 cm across on a tan orthoclase matrix. The spessartines are of the 24-sided tetragonal trisoctahedral habit, with striated faces. There is a 2.7 x 2.0 cm muscovite crystal to one side, as well as a number of smaller muscovites scattered across the matrix.
