CINNABAR on DOLOMITE

This specimen consists of a single transparent to translucent ruby-red cinnabar crystal approximately 1.0 cm across, on a white crystalline dolomite matrix. Some milky quartz is present, and small greenish-white calcite crystals coat some of the dolomites. White drusy calcite cyrstals with black micro inclusions are also present.
