This spectacular gem tree consists of several gold leaves and 65 tumble-polished
blue-lace agate, tiger-eye and snow quartz stones on dark brown wire.
As a family, we collected this thunderegg base while on vacation in Oregon in 2001.
A unique feature of this base is that it fluoresces a very bright yellow-green under short wave
UV (black) light. The mother and child seal, along with a friendly
otter, provides a surreal touch to the lake-like feature of this tree base.
