Aesthetic Mercenaria specimen in sparrite (limestone) matrix, partially filled with transparent yellow calcite crystals to over 1 cm in length. Smaller translucent drusy calcite clusters sit in the bottom of the clam, atop calcite-cemented marl. No damage.
