Beautiful “full bridge” Mercenaria specimen in gray sparrite (limestone) matrix, consisting of transparent to translucent honey-yellow calcite crystals to 1.5 cm in length. Calcite crystals have grown downward from the “bridge” and fill in most of the interior of the specimen. Sits well for display. No damage.
