Large Cabinet – Matched Pair (17.0 x 10.0 x 4.0 cm & 15.5 x 9.5 x 3.8 cm)

This is a flat coral head, consisting of tea-colored translucent chalcedony with a botryoidal agate interior, with numerous chalcedony “eyes”. Minor light blue common opal is also present. Fluorescent bright yellow under longwave and shortwave UV light (see photo taken with LW UV). Collected from lower Miocene clays of the Hawthorn Group. Sold as a polished, matched pair.
