Large Cabinet – Matched Pair (19.0 x 16.5 x 5.5 cm & 20.5 x 14.0 x 5.9 cm)

A superb large coral head consisting of banded tea to amber translucent chalcedony with a botryoidal interior. This is one of my best larger specimens. Fluorescent bright yellow under longwave and shortwave UV light (see photo below, taken with LW UV). Collected from lower Miocene clays of the Hawthorn Group. Sold as a polished, matched pair.
