This is a nice specimen of agatized coral from a closed North Florida locality. Tea-gray-colorless banded fortification agate surrounds an internal void coated in bright, sparkling drusy quartz crystals. Fluorescent yellow under longwave and shortwave UV light. Collected from the St. Marks Formation (lower Miocene). Sold as a polished, matched pair.
