Gray to brown banded chalcedony pseudomorph after coral (aragonite), with a white / blue / tan common opal interior coating a previous generation of drusy quartz. Very nice specimen from this closed North Florida locality. Fluorescent yellow under longwave UV light. From the St. Marks Formation (lower Miocene). Sold as a polished, matched pair.
