Multicolored brown/tan/white banded chalcedony pseudomorph after coral (aragonite), with transparent drusy quartz crystals lining the geode interior. Fluorescent yellow banding can be seen under longwave and shortwave UV light. This is a very colorful specimen, from a now-closed North Florida locality. From the St. Marks Formation (lower Miocene). Sold as a polished, matched pair.
